🇵🇭What an awesome initiative for Filipino migrants – FREE online English classes! 🇵🇭
Check out the post below for more info (and to enrol) about this fantastic collaboration with our partners Agri Teach Me and Te Puna Reo Māori 🤩👏Fantastic News! We collaborated with Te Puna Reo Māori to provide FREE online English classes focusing on Filipino Stay-at-home Mums. Migrant dairy worker’s wives often arrive at the start of the busy Calving Season and need to help the family adjust to the new culture, climate and language while caring for the family’s needs. This could be a very stressful time for isolated migrant mums. These classes will help Filipino Mums communicate in English with ease and confidence while providing a sense of community with fellow Filipino Mums.
Classes will start on Monday 12 August 2024 and run daily online sessions 11am-12pm Monday- Friday. This pilot program will run for 6 weeks with plans to extend to after hours classes to include more members of our Filipino communities.
